FAQs

How long will it take to receive a commissioned piece?

Each commissioned piece is individually made with the recipient’s preferences in mind. For this reason, I maintain a queue of jobs. In general, you can expect to wait for your item an average of 8-12 weeks. I will communicate up front about the general time frame during which I will be able to complete your item.

How do we start?

To reserve your place in the queue, I will need a 50% deposit of the quote that I give you after pricing your yarn. This deposit is refundable until I purchase yarn for your project, and then it’s non-refundable. The balance, plus shipping cost, is due when your item is finished. I will consult with you on details regarding fiber type, color, style, size, etc.

How much does it cost to commission a one-of-a-kind piece

Prices vary based on color changes, complexity of the pattern, if you provide a pattern, etc. This is why most of the prices below reflect the cost with a single color and a simple pattern. This is not an exhaustive list of what can be made; please contact me if you want to commission something not described below.

How will my item be shipped?

Pricing does not include shipping costs.

Your item will be shipped USPS priority mail and the shipping cost will include insurance for the commissioned item sufficient to cover the full price of the item plus my time and materials. If your item is lost or damaged during shipping, you will receive a full refund, or you can be placed back on the queue for a replacement of the item. If you are placed back in the queue, I will do my best to complete the replacement as quickly as possible.

How do I pay?

For commissions outside of Etsy, I accept PayPal (@ceisemancrochet) and Venmo (https://www.venmo.com/u/Courtney-Eiseman-Crochet). On Etsy, you may use Mastercard, Visa and other payment methods.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Due to the individualized and personal nature of the items created, all sales are final and exchanges are not permitted. I will communicate with you while the item is being completed and send pictures to be sure that I am meeting your expectations.
